WGUK Nov 09 Judge Training - Message from William Chumley

Welcome one and all to the 2010 judging season!

We kick off our continuing training and development of judges and instructors the weekend of 28-29 November.

We will have two days of practice judging, looking at what makes for depth and quality in programs, understanding what each caption is all about, and grounding in the basics of the scoring philosophy.

This is a 'don't miss' weekend for judges and instructors alike. The more you understand the judging system, the more your shows will be able to succeed and to be understood.

And, a major factor in holding the event is having the community together hearing the same message, openly discussing topics, and growing in mutual understanding and respect.

See you there!

William Chumley
WGUK Education Director
