Northern Academy welcomes the return of old friends for 2010!
WGUK Triple Crown Open Class Champions are pleased to announce the return to their design team of Andy Toth, and Tommy Allen for the 2010 season and also to welcome back to the Design process Hall of Famer Michael Gaines.
Plans are well under way for the new up and coming 2010 season with summer rehearsals adding some additional strength that will really aid the new program that this year will see the Guard enter the World stage and the WGI Championships in Dayton Ohio for the very first time in it’s history.
The 2010 Open Class program will again highlight the uniqueness and originality that Northern Academy are known for and with the added strength on the design team all round it’s already shaping up to be an excellent year for the Guard.
Northern Academy’s Guard Director, Nicola Garlick comments “Having Andy and Tommy back on board in the same capacity as for the 2009 season is really going to help with the consistency of development that we are working to, and with the added bonus and input from Michael coupled with our own extremely talented team, the work already done on the program during the Summer will really make this year special in so many ways. It’s a big challenge for the team this year, but I am confident that our work processes and ethic will continue to guide us through and that regardless of the outcome, we would have again created memories that our members, staff, supporters and friends will keep with them forever. I and the rest of the UK Staff are delighted that we have been able to welcome our old friends back into the team and look forward very much to working together again”
NAPA Chairman Paul Morgan adds “In an historic year for Northern Academy, welcoming back such talent as Andy, Tommy and Mike is an exciting achievement for Nicola her extremely talented UK Guard staff and the members for the 2010 season can look forward to being pushed even further than ever before. The program choice is not only unique and original again, but is something that has already sparked more discussions, thoughts and storyboarding than any program so far, and everyone at NAPA are extremely excited for the season and for the trip to WGI in April next year”
