IPE Championships 08 - New Date & Venue

Indoor Percussion Europe (IPE) is changing the date and location of the 2008 IPE Championships. The organisation has decided that the new date will be Sunday March 30th in “De Schelp” in Wevelgem, Belgium.

“Sunday, March 30 is in every way much better”, Erwin van Gemert of IPE said. “Our main reason to change the date is because of the new arrival times of our American guests. With this new date we can really build a indoor percussion event which will be much better and bigger. Fans can already start thinking ahead to this super weekend because they don’t have two big events on a day anymore and IPE offers them a chance to experience the world’s best indoor percussion units in Belgium!”.

“Because of the changing of the date we also had to change to location. De Schelp in Wevelgem is a fantastic indoor facility which is perfect for showcasing the exhilarating performances of the world’s most elite and exclusive indoor percussion ensembles in Europe”.
