The DCUK/WGUK Discussion Group

In February 2006, following a number of requests from many members, who were concerned about the content of a large number of postings made and the public face of our organisation, the DCUK Board Of Trustees agreed to make the DCUK/WGUK Discussion Page a Log In to view messages as well as to post messages service.

Over the past few months it has become apparent that this action did little to curb the mindless few who seem determined to either "highjack" most discussions or spread doom and gloom about this activity, most of which is in complete contrast to what is actually happening in the real world as those people who have attended the WGUK contests earlier this year and the DCUK shows at Warrington, Barnsley and Aldershot plus the Invitational event at Peterborough will be well aware.

At the DCUK Board of Trustees Meeting held on Saturday 22nd July it was agreed that, with immediate effect, this Discussion Page will be shut down indefinitely.

We thank those who posted messages worthy of serious discussion and of information and would remind all Corps & Guards that your News Items are actively sought and can easily be submitted for inclusion by clicking here and completing our on line form.

Over the next few days remember to check either the DCUK or WGUK websites for exciting announcements about the future.
